- A troll is a reference to a post which is made in an online forum with the intent of making people unnecessarily angry or generating unnecessary controversy. When someone does this, they are said to be trolling. A high quality troller will be able to overcome his ideals, beliefs, and upbringing to make whatever kind of statement will have maximum effect. We all know, additionally, that gentoo sucks. Especially emacs-using gentooers.
