Salamo 3alikom, I am new user of linux in general, i installed linux mandrake 10.0 on my laptop and i don't know how to access the internet through my dial up modem... so please can anybody help???? |

what kind of modem is it
is it internal or external?
what is the model? if it is internal you can check the model from the mandrake control center system->configure->configure your computer under hardware->hardware
or from the command line run the command lspcidrake
btw latest stable release of mandrake is 10.1

Cant find modem
Linux doesnt like winmodems. There are patches available ? Linmodems ?? Other than that hook up an external modem
