If you haven't heard of BarCamp, it's an event that groups people whom are interested in technology such as you fine people, and bring them socially together under one roof filled with excitement and presentations about new projects. And since many, maybe all of you do believe that starting up a project without commercializing to raise it to something big, aside of big corporations is the way to go, especially when it's completely social; Then i think here is where we should start.

To clear it up a bit, it's where you get to know new great people who share the same interests, contributing with each others' projects, discussing whatever freely, and expand your knowledge. Sounds good? Here's the chance to gather and celebrate the first anniversary of BarCamp here in Cairo this August, celebrating? Well, yeah... Maybe you don't know it, but you're quite familiar with it already! Aren't you?

I'm currently writing this directly after a little voice chat with Chris Messina about hosting it here, and as he's very excited about it in Cairo, a lot of support and help will be offered as well.

Hope to see positive responses and it would be nice of you to share your ideas and suggestions. Good day.

I would rather seize the opportunity and go to the fest, just to discuss BarCamp's idea. But merging isn't a good idea.

Also, i think we should start an online meet-up instead, because BarCamp will come before the InstallFest.

Online meetup?
