i have suse 10.0 i want to update kernel how i do this??? im new to linux. where can i download it and what steps i have to do?? i downloaded linux-2.6.20.6.tar what i have to do with this?????? thanks |

I guess you will have to read about package management .. This might be useful .. and there are a lot of HOWTO's and FAQs here too. Finally, I would recommend Ubuntu as I believe that it's documentation is more convenient.
