Just some news on the (commercial) linux gaming front. Some sweet graphics there... but i dunno how long i'd have to save just to get a pc that can run it. Personally, The foliage on ET:QW and the release plan of S2 are what impress me the most.

X2 : The Threat

Commercial game ported by LGP. Space simulation ... not exactly my cup of tea. This game is already gold and ships in 2 weeks or though. Screenie.

Savage 2

The RTS/FPS/RPG mash-up from S2Games. Definetly an intersting game. You can already pre-order and join the beta. The game will launch with a shareware-like demo which is free(gratis) for single player and LAN games but requires paying to go online. Screenie.

ET: Quake Wars

Id Software bring a massive online warfare game. This game is based on the storyline from Quake2 and Quake4 with large-scale online play and a brand new highly detailed engine. Screenie.

Nice One
